Abstract :
As a counterpoint against the status quo of the homogeneous, unilateral and static study on alliance capability, the author, based on his furtherance and development of the dynamic view on capability, the theoretic basics of alliance capability, proposes in this paper a IDCV-based (Integrated Dynamic Capability View) fundamental framework of alliance capability and its intrinsic mechanism of promoting the performance of firm alliance, i.e. alliance capability is a capability integration system composed of operational capability, upgrading capability, coordinative and controlling capability, the promotion of alliance performance depends on the interdependent, interactive, and interpromotional synergy of the operational, promotional, coordinative and controlling capabilities. To prove the reasonability of such theoretic model, the author puts forward a structural equation model (SEM), which is tested by a large sample including 147 Chinese firms. Modified SEM and its practical meaning is discussed
