Abstract :
The purposes of this paper are to examine the influence of some organizational factors on the knowledge-sharing of members in Chinese context, and to discuss the implications of these factors for formulating organizational strategies that encourage knowledge sharing. Based on the theory of planning behavior (TPB), this paper focuses on the effects of the three factors (manager´s behavior, organizational culture and organizational structure) on the members´ knowledge sharing behaviors in the organizational context. Resulting from a survey of 306 firms in China, the research shows that management trustworthy behavior, two categories of organizational culture (sociability and solidarity) and the flexibility of organizational structure positively influence organizational members´ knowledge sharing behavior. We conclude this paper with research´s limitations, implications for practice and future research
