Abstract :
Summary form only given. We designed an all-prism device for SHG of ultrashort pulses from a Ti:sapphire laser. The design consists of five prisms to disperse the broadband pulses before a BaB/sub 2/O/sub 4/ (BBO) crystal, and another five prisms after to recombine the second-harmonic pulse.
