Abstract :
Choosing a good project manager has the decisive influence on the project´s success. Due to the complex, universal and unique features of the project management, many companies still use qualitative evaluation to select the project manager. The paper analyzes of the importance of a project manager to a project, and elaborates the importance of selecting a good project manager. Relative to the qualitative evaluation of selecting project manager before, the paper applies fuzzy analytical hierarchy process based on triangular fuzzy numbers, by establishing the mathematics model of comprehensive evaluation, to quantitatively evaluate the project manager´s quality, ability. Thereby the person who is more suitable for the project can be available. This method can make the work of engaging project manager more scientific, fair and rational
