Abstract
Summary form only given. A passively Q-switched intracavity KTiOPO/sub 4/ optical parametric oscillator was designed, fabricated, and tested. The model has been developed and its application to the design and operation of a very compact, lightweight, eyesafe laser has been demonstrated.
