Abstract
The development of the TMN (telecommunication management network) system is active in Korea. ETRI has developed TMN EMS (element management system) with the development of an ATM switch. In the next year, these systems will be in operation in the Korean ATM network. We introduce our EMS and analyse the throughput of EMS. In order to analyse the throughput, we use an open queuing network model and actual measurement data. The results of the analysis are useful when the TMN management network is set up
