Abstract :
We experimentally show the first demonstration of a super-broadband radio-over-fiber system transmitting 1-Gb/s OFDM signals on 40-GHz millimeter-wave carriers. It is achieved over 80-km SSMF without dispersion compensation with less than 0.5-dB power penalty at BER of 10-6.
