Abstract :
In this paper, we partially extend a constant-rank theorem of S. A. Vakhrameev to time-varying control systems. This theorem completely characterizes constant-rank control systems in terms of invariant subspaces. The extension is partial, in the sense that it only applies to control systems evolving on a Euclidean space.
