Abstract :
In order to improve the accuracy of the vertical handoff decision-making and efficient utilization of wireless network resources in radio heterogeneous network, this paper proposes a hierarchy multiple attribute decision with possibilities (HMADP) method based on service. This method uses analytic hierarchy process ( AHP ) and multi attribute decision making with possibility (MADMP). The AHP reflect QoS parameterspsila relative impordegree for each service category and makes handoff decision-making to meet actual user demands. The MADMP execute the final handoff decision-making. This method based interval-number for QoS parameter is more reasonable than that based on the instant values. Through the simulation analyses, delay, jitter and packet loss rate are given to show the impacts on handoff decision-making in conversational and streaming services., we can see this proposed HMADP method can select the appropriate network. Simulation results show that method is effective, flexible and captures some of the userspsila real requests in the wireless cellular environment.
