Abstract
Electronic hubs are intermediaries that simplify business-to-business (B2B) communication. While communication hubs are focused on managing the events exchanged between trading partners, domain hubs provide semantics like buyer/seller matching in the purchasing process. Hub architectures require functionality that can be provided by B2B integration server technology. This shows that hubs are not a new type of infrastructure but are a particular application of B2B integration server technology
