Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate transmission of coherent optical 2×2 multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) with high electrical bandwidth-efficiency. The critical issues of I/Q imbalance for direct down-conversion are also investigated.
