  • Abstract
    E-government as a new form of government management is a special public goods with nonexclusive, noncompetitive and public characteristics in consumption. The current research on e-government focuses mostly on the technical problems, and some public economics characteristics of e-government are ignored. In this paper the public goods characteristics of e-government is identified. Then the comprehensive quantitative relationship analysis of the construction scale of e-government and the demand influenced by the scale of the tax revenue and people´s incomes is researched with the analytical tools of public economics. And the method of defining the e-government equilibrium quantity is provided
