Abstract
A novel DOA estimation method called Generalized Spectral Correlation Signal Subspace Fitting (GSC-SSF) is proposed in this paper, which is applicable in both wide band and narrow band scenarios. Especially, in narrow band cases, the method is capable of enlarging the effective aperture of the sensor array considerably. It is proven herein that several present DOA estimation methods based on cyclostationarity, including SC-SSF, Cyclic MUSIC and Cyclic ESPRIT, are just special cases or approximations of this method. Its effectiveness and generality are also illustrated by simulation results
