Abstract :
A new approach for using slices of higher order cumulants for estimating the parameters of complex sinusoids using signal and noise subspaces are developed. Properties of Hankel and Toeplitz matrices formed from sample cumulants are studied and new approaches for the estimation of the parameters of complex sinusoids corrupted with colored Gaussian noise are presented. The signal frequencies are estimated using MUSIC-like, matrix pencil-based and ESPRIT-like methods
