Abstract :
In this work, we are reporting the results on the electrochemical studies of the Cu-In-Se system and the deposition and characterization of CuInSe2 thin films prepared on flexible substrates by the electrodeposition technique. We have used an aqueous buffered baths and a careful selection of deposition parameters to ensure a good control of the chemical composition of the deposited films. The electrochemical studies on polyimide with a sputtered Mo layer were performed by using the cyclic voltammetry technique at a temperature of 25°C. Results have shown the growth of good quality films confirmed by the XRD patterns, very uniform morphology with grain sizes of tenths of a micrometer and a chemical composition very close to the stoichiometry of the CuInSe2 as needed for solar cell applications.
