  • Abstract
    As a typical interactive multimedia service, VoD is much more known and accepted. However, the complexity of network architecture and high cost are two factors to hinder the development of VoD. In this paper, we firstly introduce broadband IN into VoD, which can make the architecture of VoD more flexible and simple. We also provide local storage with VoD to decrease cost and price. Furthermore, the paper provides a new active multi-layer fuzzy decision algorithm based on multi-factor to increase the hit probability of users with little modification on the video server.
