Abstract
Summary form only given. In this work we investigate and experimentally demonstrate the possibility of generating transform-limited, low duty-cycle pulse trains at high repetition rate, particularly suitable for soliton transmissions, by passive filtering of an intracavity frequency modulated laser beam.
