Abstract :
This paper explains the implementation scenario, current state of study and outstanding tasks of the automated highway system (AHS) as an intelligent transport system which will develop into the automatic driving system in the future. This prototype system has realized the continuous road vehicle communication (communication between roads and vehicles) for the AHS by using leaky coaxial cables
