  • Abstract
    Heating and air conditioning for buildings using urban sewage source heat pump system has broad application prospects. Sewage heat exchanger (SHE) is the key equipment in this system. However, the design parameters and design methods for clean water heat exchanger can not simply be applied to the design of SHE, because of the great difference on heat transfer and flow characteristics of sewage and clean water. From our experimental research and engineering practice in recent years and based on sewage flow resistance and heat exchanger characteristics, we show the critical design points and essential parameters of SHE using the SCILAB platform and TCL/TK software.
