Abstract :
A remote fiber test system (RFTS) with network elements (NE) database and geographic information system (GIS) has been developed. It performs regularly scheduled measurements, and if any changes in the optical network are detected, it delivers the alarm, indicates its location on the map, and offers the data necessary for the repair and restoration.
