Abstract
Overshoot reduction of narrowband multi-tone ANC systems is investigated. The second-order perturbation method is proposed to estimate the poles of ANC transfer function. The phase differences of the estimated poles and the zeros corresponding to the input signal are then used in a parallel ANC system to compensate the secondary-path phases. Simulation results clearly show the significant reduction of overshoot phenomenon for multi-tone input signals.
