  • Abstract
    Engineering, economical, environmental, and social performance of a product need to be considered comprehensively to reach a globally acceptable product solution. These aspects are determined and realized during several product life cycle stages. Life cycle stages are interrelated and mutually constrained. Each stage has its own concerns while they need to coordinate to reach global product solutions. This paper proposes using distributed constraint satisfaction methods to model and solve product life cycle problems.
