Abstract
This paper proposes an architecture of a home automation system using a home network control protocol (HNCP). The proposed architecture allows users to control and monitor networked home appliances using HNCP. HNCP bundle on the Open Services Gateway Initiative´s (OSGi) framework is implemented and tested in a prototype of the home automation system
