Abstract :
The integration of intelligent network (IN) capabilities (to be known as CAMEL) is seen the solution to the restrictive service control/creation aspects of GSM. It would also provide a bridge to future evolution towards IMT2000/UMTS. The paper describes China´s mobile intelligent network system (CMIN02). The design and implementation of CMIN02 are discussed. The CMIN02 system is followed by the ETSI GSM CAMEL standards and provides the prepaid service (PPS).
