Abstract
A single Fourier series analytical technique is presented for simulation of pulsewidth modulated systems in power electronic applications. The effect of harmonic distortion in pulse shape simulation is examined. Substantial savings of up to fiftyfold in motor drive simulation time are presented without loss of simulation accuracy
