Abstract
In this paper conducting particle movement is obtained for 245kv power frequency voltage in gas insulated line (GIL) with SF6/N2 gas mixture environment. Conducting particles are considered as copper, aluminium and silver of 0.25 mm radius and 10 mm length of wire type. Monte Carlo technique has been adopted for simulation. The results are shown for the movement of particle in different concentration of SF6/N2 gas mixture.
