Abstract :
We analytically study the cross-phase-modulation (XPM) impact on 40-Gb/s DQPSK from 10-Gb/s OOK channels, revealing its dependence on dispersion map and channel plan, and showing the suppression of the XPM-induced penalty via proper dispersion management.
