  • Abstract
    In this paper, we propose a new design method of DeltaSigma modulators. First, we analyze the stability of DeltaSigma modulators. We show a parametric representation of all stabilizing loop filters for a linearized model, and then an analysis of the nonlinear stability is discussed. Next, by using the parameterization of loop filters, we propose an optimal design to shape the frequency response of the noise transfer function (NTF). Generalized KYP (Kalman-Yakubovic-Popov) lemma is used to reduce our optimization to a linear matrix inequality.
