Abstract :
In this paper, the remolding procedure on the blunt W tips as a pretreatment for the nano-pyramid production was performed. As a result, the W tips were found to become keen. Feature of the FEM patterns are consistent with those obtained on the single atom emitter. Although the atomic structures by means of FEM have not been analyzed so far, it is apparent that the base of the pyramid starts to grow. Further refinement of the fabrication conditions is expected.
