Abstract
Tunable demultiplexing operation of four 5 Gb/s WDM signals with a channel spacing of 0.8 nm is successfully demonstrated by using an semiconductor OADM device, which consists of vertically stacked and contra-directionally coupled InGaAsP/InP waveguides and a striped thin-film heater.
