Abstract :
Lean production, evolved from Toyota Production System, is the regulation gave by automobile experts of MIT. The success of Toyota Motor Corporation has proven lean production is scientific and powerful, so many enterprises, including enterprises of China, are implementing lean production in order to upgrade core competitiveness. But due to some reasons, the implementation effect in China is not ideal. This paper first analyzes the wrong manner of implementing lean production, and then points out putting emphasis on building implementation ability, thus paying attention to “process” not “result”, can do great good to lean production´s smooth implementation in China. After that the appraisal model to lean implementation ability is put forward, and finally one example is used to show the copulation process as well as the model´s reasonability and feasibility.
