Abstract
A new detection system is being developed for the focal plane spectroscopy station of S3@SPIRAL2. The system will be constructed from Si DSSSD and pad detectors for alpha-electron measurements, surrounded by an array of HpGe detectors for precise gamma spectroscopy. A new detector test bench has been assembled and first reference detectors tests of Si detectors for optimal detection and front-end/back-end electronics optimization have been started. Different detector-electronics parameters are investigated. First results of these investigations and future plans are given in the paper.
