Abstract :
We have fabricated low loss multimode polymeric optical waveguides with high thermal stability for a parallel optical interconnect module using UV cured epoxy resins. The propagation loss of the waveguide at 830 nm was 0.08 dB/cm and no increment was observed after a solder bumps melting test.
