Abstract
The basic unit of an integrated fiber add/drop multiplexer (ADM) is a Mach-Zehnder (M-Z) interferometer which has unequable arm-lengths. In this paper, the output characteristics and channel isolation variation of the all fiber M-Z interferometer are analyzed. The theory and the numerical simulation results have some direct significance for practical fabrication or use of the ADM device.
