  • Abstract
    The trial and error method is mainly used for process parameter setting of injection molding. This method, however, heavily relies on skilled operator´s experience and is time consuming. In this paper, a method of integrating the case-based reasoning with fuzzy reasoning to solve the problem is proposed. The method initially applies the former injection experience for the injection setting and then uses fuzzy reasoning to adjust the corresponding injection parameters. The conducted experiments show that the suggested method is effective and feasible
