Abstract :
In this paper, equations for the calculation of the phase inductance and flux-linkage for three identified regions based on the rotor positions are presented in terms of the motor dimensions and magnetic permeability and stator excitations which leads to calculation of actual developed torque. The results obtained using the new method are as good as those obtained from the FE analysis.
