Abstract :
In this paper a new soft-switching technique for ZVS based buck converter using coupled inductors is considered in detail. The purpose of soft switching technique is to minimize voltage and current overlapping area, which in turn minimizes the switching losses and increase the efficiency of the converter. In this paper modeling and simulation of ZVS based converter with PID and Sliding mode Controllers is explained for performance comparison.
