  • Abstract
    An experimental real time one-bit (hardware) processor (SCSP) had been realized and operated in connection and during the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM). During the mission, part of the X-SAR raw data was downlinked, re-coded at one-bit and processed in real time with a one-bit coded filter function. The authors present the implementation, the reference architecture of the overall X-SAR/SRTM Processing Chain and the results of the SCSP compared with a conventional off line processing. The comparison is extended up to the unwrapped phase
