Abstract :
In this paper, thin graphene sheet composite have been synthesized and field emission parameters (threshold turn on field, mean field enhancement factor, gammam, and emission uniformity) were studied. Electron microscopy analysis revealed that, composite consists of typically 4-6 graphene layers of thickness 1-2 nm. The field emission mainly occurs via edges and folding edges of graphene sheets. The approach described herein is simple, scaleable and offer insight to use graphene sheet composite for future display application and electron sources.
