Abstract
This paper investigates on the fractality of Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ASAR) like sea scattered signal. The goal of the work is to predict the results to be expected from fractal analysis of real ASAR data that will be available at the end of 2001. The data are analyzed using three different approaches: (1) morphological covering analysis, (2) wavelet decomposition; (3) multifractal analysis. Some numerical examples are presented and discussed to show the main characteristic of the result analysis
