Abstract :
Use of ultrasonic for measurement of distance or location of an object is an improved way of measurement over conventional methods of distance measurement. In this paper, a cost effective object detection system is designed. The system detects the position of the object, lying in the vicinity by measuring the distance and the angle by using the principle of ultrasonic. The exact position is displayed on LCD and an SMS is generated to be sent to an authorize person. Keil software is used for programming and DSO is used to analyze and test the performance of system. Prototype of a system is tested that gives satisfactory results.
