  • Abstract
Once an infectious disease spreads, such as avian influenza, HIV/AIDS, and Swine Flu, the world needs a system that could precisely monitor and predict direction of the spreading (spatial) and time it will take to spread (temporal). Such monitoring and predicting system is essential to propose policies and actions to effectively and efficiently block the pandemic. In this paper, a framework model of a system called Spreading Disease Monitoring System is proposed. It consists of data collection model, analysis methods, models of disease, disease states model, movement model, and technologies. The writing briefly discusses the data collection and analysis method to establish this disease monitoring system, several models and technology applied in the system, and the data information the system could provide.
