Interactive networks in virtual community — Taking “GuangMu community” as example

Online interaction, rapidly on the rise with the development of the Internet, is a new kind of social interaction. Netizens establish new social connections via online interaction. Using network analysis method and taking ldquoGuangMu Communityrdquo as the example, the present authors classify and investigate into the interactive networks in virtual community primarily by making quantitative analysis on the network relations of the interaction, with the posts in the GuangMu BBS. The study finds that participants in GuangMu Community interact via the posts, and establish a weak network that contains kinds of interactive relationships, such as discussion relation, affectivity relation, communication for information and assistance relation.
