Abstract :
Compaction of magnetic powders using slip-flow phenomena is introduced. This technique is used in preparing a anisotropic thin Nd-Fe-B/Sm-Fe-N sheet magnets. In this developed technique, HDDR-Nd2Fe14B-based powder is isolated by RD-Sm2Fe17N3 one and composite sheet magnets are obtained under a low pressure of 20-50 MPa. The obtained (BH)max value depends only on the density, even when their thickness decreases down to 400 μm.
