Abstract
Taguchi method is the most popular approach for multiresponse optimization. However, the weighting values of responses are ignored in this approach. Thus improved Taguchi method is presented, which applies the principal component analysis to evaluate the weights so that their relative importance can be properly described. The implementation and effectiveness of the proposed method are illustrated by an example from the literature. The results show that improved Taguchi method can optimize the multiresponses.
