Abstract :
This paper deals with the generation of non-stationary reverberation time series using a reverberation spectrum model. The expected spectra are predicted using a numerical implementation (referred to as the reverberation spectrum model), of a general formulation of Faure, Ol´shevskii, and Middleton as a function of relevant sonar system parameters and environmental conditions. From the expected spectra, the time series is generated employing Levinson Durbin algorithm. The model is analysed for different sets of input parameters and similar analysis is carried out on the time series to check the validity.
