Abstract :
One of the most important applications of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) is electron emitters in field emission (FE) displays, which needs CNT films with high emission uniformity and emission site density (ESD). It has been reported that the surface roughness of CNT films remarkably affects their field enhancement factors. We here investigated the influence of surface roughness on the emission site density (ESD).
