Abstract :
This paper reports an analysis of the performance of code division multiple access (CDMA) system employing spatio-temporal adaptive receiving filters at the base station. We show that taking into account the spatial and temporal statistical properties of the interference is a very interesting and efficient way of increasing the cell capacity. Since a pilot sequence is used to estimate the receiving filter, the influence of the number of available pilot symbols on the receiver´s performance is studied
