Abstract :
The smart phone operating system is the core component of smart phone. The system security plays an important role in determining the development trend of smart phones market. Protection profile (PP) defined in Common Criteria (CC) can provide functional requirements and assurance requirements for the smart phone operating system as the basis for security evaluation. In this paper, by analyzing the security mechanism and the security environment of the smart phone operating system, the system security objectives and security requirements were proposed and the protection profile for the smart phone operating system was developed based on CC.
