  • Abstract
    In this paper, we clarify the effects of the randomness on the tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) of Fe/MgO/Fe junction by performing numerical simulation based on a realistic tight-binding model. We consider an Fe/MgO/Fe [001] junction and assume perfect lattice matching at the interfaces between Fe and MgO since the bond length of O-O in NaCl type MgO is about the same with the lattice constant of bcc Fe.
